Tether mechanism dynamic simulator
This equipment is a National Space Development Agency Tsukuba Space
Center production engineering division tip missions center micro space.
The
laboratory was supplied in spring of 2002.
The research purpose supports the
child satellite separated from the parent satellite by space by tether.
The
diameter of about 0.2mm and expansion speed are 60 m/min with thread with
special tether.
TDSM of a parent satellite takes charge of a ground
examination. Incidentally a child satellite is called TRM.
TDSM equipped
with the imitation ejection mechanism drives TRM to regulation speed by
acceleration time 0.15sec.
Parts are noncommercial uses although TRM is
vacuum specification as special correspondence.
